Day2...
Eh...wad do i say? I think today 98% of the time...i'am working on the same piece of "project"
Jiahao got a more mandane job than me yesterday which he managed to finish today...and he went off to bug the super busy supervisor to teach him about the system.
Well, let me tell u more about my project.
Initially it looked like LOADS of data unknown to me...then after i mugged and mugged...i know how it goes...basically...the dept deals with mismatched information and there are reports to be generated...
So to generate the graphs, the user need to click click click to generate the graphs...so...my super busy supervisor sure no time to do...so...this very "simple" task i need to do lor...
Basically we're like to process very simple jobs they give us...
Well...it's ANOTHER day...oh...should i mention?
6 of us in harbourfront..one guy is like complaining that he has nothing to do...yah i see him reading notes from yesterday to today....two dunno doing wad...but at least got people teaching them 1-1 each....another girl i think she's working alone...on a pc...
Yah...harbour front seemed like a "dumping ground" for lousier people...i heard that suntec people are doing much better....
Of course...luckily i still can turn to HR if i dun like BANK job...it sucks lor...seems so stressed....everyone's like super busy...
What i've learnt:
How to Operate Copier --> needs ID and password -.-"
How to Open door ---> Need card
How to take the lift --> Scan card, press level
How to get coffee ---> Press button on the coffee maker
How to MAKE coffee ---> Add milo, sugar, creamer, and stirr to get desired coffee
How to use MS Excel better --> functions like vlookup, trim, how to plot charts
How to use fax machine

Weird Coporate culture
Office is entirely OPEN style....the head..meaning regional manager sits somewhere "ROOMLESS" although there are meeting rooms...
Some big shot sits directly facing me...
Every wed is FRUIT day...muahahha
Every fri is CASUAL day...everyone wears smart casual...
We got internal chat rooms...everyone logs into their dept chat rooms....e.g #Controls, or #DataManagement...can be chatting even though facing each other

Interesting Facts
If u leave at 7...u'll see a very big cruiser Lighted up...we're directly facing it...
U can see cable cars over your (my) head from the pantry...
